As summer winds down, we’re reflecting on the incredible impact our intern team has had here at YouBetcha! Box. This summer was packed with creativity, collaboration, and growth. Together, our interns tackled projects across marketing, maker relations, strategy, and storytelling, each bringing unique strengths while working as a team to push our brand forward.
Creativity in Content and Storytelling
Layla, our Marketing Strategist Intern, dove headfirst into content creation with a focus on Minnesota themes and brand storytelling. From shaping blogs to creating standout social campaigns, she helped ensure that YouBetcha! Box’s message resonated with authenticity and creativity. Layla also experimented with new AI tools to streamline workflows and improve efficiency, a skill that gave our team a boost for future projects.
“YouBetcha! Box gave me the chance to dive into projects, get hands-on, and grow my skills in such a fun environment,” she shared.
Building Maker Relationships
Dahlia, our Maker Relations & Digital Marketing Intern, focused on one of our company’s core values: celebrating small makers. She built meaningful connections with our local partners and curated spotlight pages for each of them on our developing website. Alongside that, Dahlia supported our marketing strategy by helping to plan and schedule content, organize photoshoots, and refine our social media presence.
“I loved getting to know the makers and helping tell their stories in a way that felt personal and celebratory,” she said.
Strategy Behind the Scenes
Alexander, our Strategy Intern, concentrated on the big-picture initiatives. He worked on email campaigns, competitive research, PR outreach, and content strategy—all with the goal of strengthening engagement and supporting key launches like our Boundary Waters Box. His work helped lay a foundation for future growth and deeper connections with our community.
“This summer taught me the value of balancing creativity with strategy,” he reflected.
A Fresh Perspective
Finally, Elise, our Maker Ambassador Intern, joined the team in August and quickly made an impact. She sourced maker information for our new website and supported creative product photoshoots—handling props, styling, and even stepping in for hand modeling, commenting that it was “such a fun and hands-on internship experience.”
A Season of Collaboration and Growth
From launching new e-blasts and shaping social content to curating maker stories and strategizing PR pushes, this group has been busy making things happen. They proved that with energy, creativity, and teamwork, interns can leave a lasting mark not just on projects—but on the spirit of a company.
📸 This summer, our interns filled YouBetcha! Box with new ideas, inspiration, and momentum for the future. We couldn’t be more grateful for their work, and we can’t wait to see what’s next for each of them.
Explore all that You Betcha! Box has to offer right now on our website!
Every brand has a story — a vibe, a voice, a personality. Maybe yours is bold and modern. Maybe it’s warm, grounded, and people-first. Either way, your brand identity doesn’t stop at your website or your logo. It shows up in the little moments — like the way you say thank you.
At YouBetcha! Box, we like to think of custom gifting as a physical extension of your brand. A well-crafted box doesn’t just deliver snacks and goodies — it delivers your values. The care, the creativity, the connection? That’s all brand identity at work.
Imagine a client opens a box from you and immediately feels it: The color palette matches your brand. The tone of the note? Spot-on. The gift items are thoughtfully chosen, aligned with what your company stands for — sustainability, community, celebration, innovation. Whatever it is that makes your brand you.
Custom gifting gives you the chance to communicate that — without saying a word.
It’s also an opportunity to show up consistently. Whether it’s your team, your partners, or your clients, every box they open becomes a small, memorable touchpoint that reinforces the brand relationship. And in a world where attention spans are short and inboxes are full, that kind of physical brand moment is gold.
We’re not talking cookie-cutter promo items with your logo slapped on top. We’re talking meaningful curation — boxes that look like you, feel like you, and leave people saying, “Wow, this is so on-brand.”
The best part? You don’t have to do it alone. We partner with you to design gifts that capture your company’s essence — from the colors and packaging to the messaging and contents. Whether it’s a one-time wow moment or a full-on gifting strategy, we’re here to help your brand shine.
Ready to turn your brand into a gift they’ll never forget?
🎁 Let’s build your branded box — and make sure every unboxing feels like you.
Let’s be real: we live in a world where you can send a “Happy Birthday!” text with a balloon emoji and call it a day. Where meetings happen over Zoom in pajama bottoms, and where the phrase “sent from my iPhone” counts as a sign-off. So… does thoughtful gifting even matter anymore? Heck yes, it does. Whether you’re sending a client gift across the country or a “thinking of you” box to your bestie next door, thoughtful gifting has never gone out of style — it just got a digital glow-up. At YouBetcha! Box, we’re here to prove that meaningful, memorable gifts still have the power to spark real connection (and maybe even happy tears).
Here’s why thoughtful gifting still matters — especially in our fast-scrolling, Slack-slack-slack world:
1. It Makes People Feel Like Actual Humans, Not Just @Handles
Your coworker isn’t just [firstname.lastname@company.com] — they’re a real person with snack preferences and a favorite candle scent. A thoughtful gift (that isn’t just another boring pen with a logo) shows them you see them. And in the corporate world, that goes a long way. Loyalty? Check. Connection? Check. Feel-good vibes? Youbetcha.
2. It Cuts Through the Noise (And the Inbox Clutter)
The average person gets 100+ emails a day. You know what they don’t get? A beautifully curated gift box that shows up on their desk with a handwritten note and maybe a maple cookie or two. Whether you’re thanking a client, welcoming a new hire, or celebrating your team, a tangible gift stands out way more than a PDF with confetti animations.
3. It Turns “Just Business” into Something Personal
In a world of automation, AI, and endless Zoom fatigue, gifting is a way to bring the human back to business. A thoughtful corporate gift tells your client: “Hey, we appreciate you.” A thank-you box for your team says: “You crushed it — and we noticed.” It’s like turning an email into a hug.(But with snacks.)
4. People Remember How You Made Them Feel
You might forget the subject line of that email from last week. But you won’t forget the time your company sent a cozy branded blanket, local popcorn, and a note that made you smile.Thoughtful gifts stick. They create stories. And when they come from YouBetcha! Box, they’re fun, thoughtful, and full of personality — just like you.
5. Gifting Isn’t About Stuff — It’s About Connection
Sure, the items inside matter (we don’t mess around when it comes to quality), but it’s really about what the gift represents. Appreciation. Celebration. Gratitude. It’s the gesture that turns a regular Tuesday into something special. And in a world that’s more disconnected than ever, those small acts of kindness feel huge.
So, Why Gifting Still Matters?
Because people still matter. Because a thoughtful gesture — whether it’s for a client, a coworker, or your favorite cousin — reminds us that behind every screen is a real person who likes a little surprise and delight now and then. Let’s not lose that. Ready to make someone’s day the YouBetcha! way?

Let’s talk about the client gift. That mysterious package we all scramble to figure out at the end of the quarter or right before the holidays. You know the drill — a last-minute Google search, a branded water bottle, maybe a stress ball if we’re feeling wild… and suddenly we’re hoping a swag bag says “we appreciate your partnership.”
But here’s the thing: client gifting doesn’t have to be complicated, or worse — forgettable.
At YouBetcha! Box, we believe gifting should feel more like “wow, they really thought about this”. The best gifts don’t scream branding — they whisper connection. They make your client feel like more than just a line item on your CRM. And most importantly, they’re actually fun to give.
Instead of defaulting to the usual suspects, start by thinking about why you’re gifting in the first place. Is it a thank-you? A “we loved working with you”? A surprise-and-delight to keep the relationship fresh? When you focus on the feeling you want to leave behind, the rest starts to fall into place.
Forget the bulk mugs. Today’s clients want gifts that feel personal, thoughtful, and maybe even a little snacky. Whether it’s locally sourced goodies, cozy self-care items, or a box that celebrates your shared wins, gifting is your chance to make an impression that goes beyond a logo.
And let’s not wait until December when inboxes are overflowing and everyone’s too sugar-comatose to care. Sending gifts outside the holidays — after a big project wraps, mid-year check-ins, or just because — feels unexpected in the best way. It shows you’re thinking ahead, not just checking a box.
The best part? You don’t have to lift a finger (unless it’s to click “send”). Our team does the curating, branding, wrapping, and shipping — all tailored to your company and your clients. No stress. No swag bag. Just elevated, easy, unforgettable gifting.
If your goal is to make clients feel appreciated — not advertised to — we’ve got you. Let’s make something they’ll actually want to open.

At YouBetcha! Box, we believe great gifting is about more than what’s inside the box—it’s about how it makes people feel. So when a Major League Baseball team reached out looking for a unique way to thank their partners, fans, and internal staff, we stepped up to the plate.
This wasn’t just any order—it was big league. Literally.
When Corporate Gifting Meets America’s Pastime
Working with a professional sports organization meant the stakes were high (and so was the team spirit). They wanted something bold, memorable, and unique to their brand. So we got to work, curating custom gift boxes that blended big-league energy with Midwestern charm.
Think local artisan snacks, branded keepsakes, and a whole lotta wow factor—all wrapped up in a sleek, custom-designed box. It was a full-on team effort from start to finish.
An All-Star Collaboration
The key to making this gifting experience a grand slam? Early planning and collaboration. Their team came to us with a vision, and we worked closely with them to bring it to life—selecting premium Minnesota-made goods and finalizing the box design.
With enough lead time, we were able to create something that didn’t just check a corporate box—it knocked it out of the park.
Gifting That Builds Relationships
We know corporate gifting is more than just a thank-you—it’s a brand moment. And in this case, it was a chance for the team to connect with their people in a way that felt genuine, thoughtful, and totally on-brand.
At YouBetcha! Box, this is what we love to do: help businesses create meaningful touchpoints that stick. Whether it’s a sports team, a law firm, or a tech startup, we help you show appreciation in ways that people remember.
Your Turn to Step Up to the Plate
If you’re thinking about corporate gifting—whether for the holidays, a company milestone, or just because—now’s the time to get started. The earlier you plan, the more creative we can get. Let’s create something that’s not just good—it’s legendary.

Made by You Betcha! Box, which promotes small Minnesota businesses through curating specialty gift boxes, “Femmes du Nord: Women Makers of Minnesota” honors some of the state’s female business owners and entrepreneurs. This box features Pejrina Fruit Jam’s Organic Blackcurrant Jam, Sailor Mercy “Elderberry Elixir,” Flavour in a Jar’s “Peach Bourbon” Jam, Chef Flo’s Afric Sauce, HOYO Foods’ “Tamarind and Date” Sweet & Savory Somali Sauce, Patti’s Deluxe Mixed Nuts, Hacienda San Jose MINI Chocolate Bar, Ancient Indian Spices’ “Chai Masala” Chai Tea and baking spice blend; Csilla’s “Butter Pecan” Cookies and Sweethaven Tonic’s “Ginger Lime & Peppercorn” Craft Cocktail Concentrate.
There are so many subscription boxes out there, but I have a soft spot for the You Betcha! Box. Katie Sterns puts together themed boxes, like MinneSnowda for a hot cocoa kit; Rise and Shine for coffee; Minnesota Meat Raffle for sauces; and Land of Lakes Tea Time for the tea drinker. They range in price between $50 and $70 and include shipping. The best thing: Each box comes with the story of the items inside—so not only are you sharing Minnesota with your friends and family, you’re sharing the stories, too.
