Interns Shine Bright This Summer at YouBetcha! Box 🌟
As summer winds down, we’re reflecting on the incredible impact our intern team has had here at YouBetcha! Box. This summer was packed with creativity, collaboration, and growth. Together, our interns tackled projects across marketing, maker relations, strategy, and storytelling, each bringing unique strengths while working as a team to push our brand forward.
Creativity in Content and Storytelling
Layla, our Marketing Strategist Intern, dove headfirst into content creation with a focus on Minnesota themes and brand storytelling. From shaping blogs to creating standout social campaigns, she helped ensure that YouBetcha! Box’s message resonated with authenticity and creativity. Layla also experimented with new AI tools to streamline workflows and improve efficiency, a skill that gave our team a boost for future projects.
“YouBetcha! Box gave me the chance to dive into projects, get hands-on, and grow my skills in such a fun environment,” she shared.

Building Maker RelationshipsÂ
Dahlia, our Maker Relations & Digital Marketing Intern, focused on one of our company’s core values: celebrating small makers. She built meaningful connections with our local partners and curated spotlight pages for each of them on our developing website. Alongside that, Dahlia supported our marketing strategy by helping to plan and schedule content, organize photoshoots, and refine our social media presence.
“I loved getting to know the makers and helping tell their stories in a way that felt personal and celebratory,” she said.

Strategy Behind the ScenesÂ
Alexander, our Strategy Intern, concentrated on the big-picture initiatives. He worked on email campaigns, competitive research, PR outreach, and content strategy—all with the goal of strengthening engagement and supporting key launches like our Boundary Waters Box. His work helped lay a foundation for future growth and deeper connections with our community.
“This summer taught me the value of balancing creativity with strategy,” he reflected.

A Fresh PerspectiveÂ
Finally, Elise, our Maker Ambassador Intern, joined the team in August and quickly made an impact. She sourced maker information for our new website and supported creative product photoshoots—handling props, styling, and even stepping in for hand modeling, commenting that it was “such a fun and hands-on internship experience.”

A Season of Collaboration and GrowthÂ
From launching new e-blasts and shaping social content to curating maker stories and strategizing PR pushes, this group has been busy making things happen. They proved that with energy, creativity, and teamwork, interns can leave a lasting mark not just on projects—but on the spirit of a company.
📸 This summer, our interns filled YouBetcha! Box with new ideas, inspiration, and momentum for the future. We couldn’t be more grateful for their work, and we can’t wait to see what’s next for each of them.
