Their coffees are sourced from relationship-focused producers and importers who share their values of caring for people, seeking excellence, and cultivating a passion for quality and a commitment to working in harmony with the earth.

Backstory Coffee Roasters is dedicated to sustainability and caring for the planet. They strive to operate their company in a way that not only minimizes their impact on the world, but actively seeks to restore its harmony. They work on better solutions to lower their waste output and have diverted from the landfill almost 7K pounds of compostable material and almost 2K pounds of recycling material each year.
Meet the Maker
Micah Svejda, Founder
Bootstrap Coffee Roasters was started in St. Paul, MN, by industry veteran Micah Svejda in 2014. At the heart of the vision was a focus on sourcing excellent, sustainable and traceable coffees in season, careful roasting and amazing customer support.
