Cry Baby Craig’s
Changing the world, one drop at a time.

Cry Baby Craig’s Pickled Habanero and Garlic Hot Sauce has a loyal fan base that is spreading nationwide! Local Chef Craig Kaiser (Faribault, MN) invented the recipe by accident when he was delivered too many peppers and pickled them to preserve them. This creates a unique, bright and refreshing flavor that pairs with just about anything.

Why We Love Them
Delicious sauces created by fantastic people!
If you’ve heard the story of their Hailfire sauce, you know this is a company you want to support. In 2020 a huge hail storm caused major damage to Sogn Valley Farm in Cannon Falls – the farm that was growing all of Cry Baby Craig’s peppers. The crop was looking like a total loss, but Craig took as much as he could and made Hailfire. He donated 100% of the profits from Hailfire to support the farm.
Cry Baby Craig’s have gone above and beyond to make sauces that everyone can enjoy while supporting their community. They use ingredients from local farmers, donate profits to local causes and make vegan, all-natural and gluten-free sauces.

Meet the Maker
Craig Kaiser, Founder
While working in the restaurant business, Craig accidentally received habanero chilies instead of jalapenos in one of their orders. In order to extend their life for later use (since they didn’t mesh well with the food they made), he pickled them.
One slow service night, he made a hot sauce with the chilies for their annual “family meal” cookout. And the rest is history!
