TeaSource was founded by Bill Waddington, a globally respected tea educator and passionate advocate for specialty tea. Under his leadership, the company earned major recognition, including Best Specialty Tea Brand at the World Tea Expo and Best Tea Educator honors for Bill himself. His mission: to make high-quality, loose-leaf tea accessible, educational, and endlessly enjoyable.
In 2022, TeaSource entered a new chapter with longtime Operations Manager Michael Lannier stepping in as the new owner. A trusted figure in the specialty tea world, Michael shares Bill’s deep commitment to integrity, education, and exceptional customer service. With Michael at the helm, TeaSource continues its mission to bring world-class tea and knowledge to curious sippers everywhere—one steep at a time.
