Meet the Maker
Kristin Johnson
Uff Da Candle Company was created by Minnesota maker Johnson, who turned a lifelong connection to Scandinavian tradition into an unexpected candle line. Inspired by memories of holiday lutefisk and a radio story about unusual candle scents, she worked with experienced makers to recreate the iconic aroma—carefully balancing wax and fragrance to make it, surprisingly, smellable. The result is a playful tribute to heritage, now sold online and around the Twin Cities.
