Maple Cold Brew

Make the best of your Rise and Shine box by combining Backstory’s coffee and Wild Country’s maple syrup for a smooth, sweet morning pick-me-up. 

Ingredients

  • Fresh, coarsely-ground Backstory Coffee
  • Cold, filtered water
  • 1 oz Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 1 oz Wild Country Maple Syrup
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of sea salt

Directions

Make Cold Brew

  1. Use fresh, coarsely-ground Backstory Coffee and cold, filtered water
  2. Combine coffee & water into jar or pitcher at ratio of 1 part coffee to 8 parts water
  3. Place in refrigerator for 12-24 hours
  4. Filter, using a cheesecloth or paper filter, into a fresh jar or pitcher
  5. You now have cold brew!

Maple Cold Brew

  1. Add 8 ounces of cold brew (from Step 1) into a cocktail shaker
  2. Add 1 oz heavy whipping cream
  3. Add 1 oz pure maple syrup
  4. Add a shake of ground cinnamon (about a teaspoon)
  5. Add a pinch of sea salt
  6. Top with ice
  7. Cover and shake until lightly frothy
  8. Pour into a frosted glass and enjoy!
